The Role
*
This position is responsible for the planning and completion of mortgage files and the delivery of high quality, professional, mortgage fulfillment services. This function adds value by providing & applying in-depth knowledge of technology best practices as well as business processes to complete mortgage files from approved status through to completion/funding adhering to corporate and regulatory requirements. This role will also be responsible for coordinating and working with external parties (lenders, appraisers, lawyers, clients, etc., as required) and will be accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the services provided.*
*Tasks will include the following, subject to change as required
- Utilize existing best practices and procedures to obtain client/mortgage-related documents
- Setup and maintain client folders for all mortgage applications in G-Suite & other software environments
- Collect confidential application information from clients, and review them for accuracy, completeness, lender requirements and provincial compliance purposes
- Communicate with client and mortgage agent throughout the mortgage fulfillment process regarding outstanding conditions
- Request mortgage related documentation, sort and file per corporate guidelines
- Order property appraisals as required
- Prepare files for compliance in adherence to corporate guidelines & procedures
- Communicate with referral source providers as required (Realtors, etc.)
- Communicate with third party service providers such as Lawyers, Appraisers, Bank branches, as required
- Updating CRM databases as required*
*What You Bring To The Team
Certifications/Designations
- Mortgage Agent license in good standing

Experience
- 3+ years working as a mortgage fulfillment specialist, mortgage agent, mortgage underwriter or broker whether on the lender or broker side
- 3+ working with mortgage technology such as Finastra (Filogix), Newton (Velocity), Mortgage lender portals
- 3+ years working knowledge and preparation of mortgage compliance documents in Ontario and Atlantic Provinces

- High proficiency with G-Suite, Adobe, Filogix, Velocity platforms
- Reliable, and highly efficient
- High level of integrity, responsibility, quality of work
- Ability to manage high workloads and tight deadlines
- Very high accuracy with numbers and data processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personable and good at managing expectations vis a vis client and mortgage Agent

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,500.00-$65,000.00 per year
