Position Overview:
The Montessori Private School Director will oversee daily operations, educational leadership, staff management, and parent engagement while ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality Montessori programming across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of passionate educators
- Uphold and enrich the Montessori philosophy throughout the school
- Foster meaningful relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider school community
- Ensure curriculum alignment with Montessori standards and the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework
- Manage school operations, policies, licensing, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the strategic growth and reputation of the school
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a school or early childhood setting
- Strong ability to collaborate, delegate, and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework (asset)
- Master of Education (asset)
- Knowledge of or certification in Montessori education (asset)
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education
- Emergency First Aid & CPR certification
- Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Social Development Record Check
