Motor City is currently looking for energetic, career-oriented individuals with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to join our financial team in the capacity of a Member Service Representative - Floater (MSR). The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
JOB FUNCTION:
In support of the Mission and Vision of Motor City Community Credit Union, the Member Service Representative (MSR) – Floater is responsible for providing a full range of services to members including but not limited to:
- Responding to member inquires;
- Analyzing needs and assisting members to utilize the product or service which best meets those needs;
- Cross sell credit union products;
- Process member transactions;
- Process member requests for account updates and closures;
- Address concerns with member accounts;
- Provide a full range of services to members including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, money orders, and cheque cashing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes:
- Strong sales and customer-service oriented experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship building;
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on time management;
- Strong problem-solving capabilities;
- Graduates from Business or Accounting Programs or related experience an asset;
- Experience operating a cash drawer an asset;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently;
- Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Rate of Pay:
A starting wage of $20.71 based upon a wage grid as defined in the terms of the UNIFOR Local 240 Collective Agreement.
These positions are permanent and part of our bargaining unit (UNIFOR - Local 240).
