Grand Medical Centre is a dynamic and growing multidisciplinary clinic in Brantford, Ontario. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care in a collaborative environment. We are expanding our diagnostic services and are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends), ideal for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant who enjoys both patient-facing and technical roles. Training will be provided, and prior experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform ECG placement in the clinic
- Assist with Holter monitor placement and patient education
- Support sleep study set-up and coordination
- Conduct spirometry testing
- Maintain accurate patient records and EMR documentation (Accuro)
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinic staff
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and ready for use
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a clinical or diagnostic setting preferred (but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt; training will be provided
Work Environment
- On-site work, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends may be required)
