Job summary
Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Strategy and Customer Experience, the Media Performance and E-Commerce Director is responsible for driving the effectiveness of our media channels and the growth of our digital business. He or she is responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing the media and digital strategy with the goal of maximizing return on investment, increasing conversion rates and revenue, and providing seamless and effective customer experience across all digital channels.
Your mission at Legault Group :
- Develop and manage the paid media strategy across all digital channels to generate online and in-store traffic.
- Optimize investments based on the customer journey to maximize ROAS and commercial impact.
- Deploy high-performing campaigns with agencies and internal teams.
- Increase visibility through SEO, search engines, and new AI buying agents.
- Set up measurement frameworks (MMM, incrementality, attribution) and monitor KPIs.
- Improve conversion rates (CRO) and landing pages and accelerate A/B testing.
- Personalize the user experience and leverage AI to optimize search, merchandising, and digital shelves.
- Work with products and IT to deploy features that enrich the customer journey and basket value.
- Monitor and analyze media, e-commerce, and customer experience KPIs with clear dashboards and reporting.
- Collaborate with CRM to support loyalty and growth by leveraging first-party data.
- Supervise and develop a cross-functional team (media, digital, performance).
- Work with IT to implement technical and functional optimizations that promote conversion.
- Act as a strategic partner to banners and senior management.
- Strengthen partnerships with major platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, etc.) and key technology providers.
Profil
Profile seeked:
- More than 12 years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and media strategy.
- Solid expertise in managing large media budgets and implementing strategies that generate measurable growth.
- Significant experience in accelerating e-commerce performance, particularly in the retail sector.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, paid social media, programmatic and affiliate marketing ecosystems.
- Proven skills in conversion rate optimization (CRO), performance analysis, and marketing attribution.
- Good knowledge of MarTech and AdTech technologies, including Google Ads, GA4, Meta Ads Manager, CDP, CRM, and other related tools.
- Experience managing and developing internal teams and external partners (agencies, suppliers).
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable making data-driven decisions.
- Proven experience in allocating, managing, and optimizing budgets focused on performance and return on investment.
- Inspiring leadership, ability to motivate multidisciplinary teams, set clear priorities, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- University degree in marketing, business, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required, as you will be called upon to interact regularly with clients, partners, and employees across Canada in both official languages.
