Craneium Inc, a designer of large overhead crane refurbishments, is expanding and has an immediate requirement for a mechanical draftsperson with experience drafting mechanical and structural components.
The role will require occasional visits to customer job sites throughout Western Canada to take dimensions of existing equipment and convert those measurements to Cadd drawings, or to create 3D models in Solidworks.
This is an hourly position that includes a company benefit plan, with the potential for overtime pay depending on workload demands. You will work closely with our existing design and engineering team. Strong proficiency in Office 365 is essential as well as strong professional writing skills.
A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required, as the role involves occasional travel to job sites to take measurements of existing material handling equipment.
The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player who can also work independently, demonstrating initiative and self-starting attitude.
