The Meat Wrapper is responsible for wrapping, packaging, weighing and pricing merchandise in the Meat Department. This includes attending to the needs of our customers, product quality assurance and maintaining department standards, all in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion.
· We are looking for someone who has previous Meat Wrapping experience within a Grocery Store (retail) setting.
· This is a Part Time position – 16 – 32 hours / week.
· Open availability is required – Mornings, Afternoons and Weekends.

· Ability to work in varying temperatures. Cutting room, coolers and freezers.
· Handle large quantities of product to wrap, weigh and label.
· Knowledgeable in the various types of products carried in the department. Ability to identify different cuts and species.
· Attention to detail - ensure product is secure and doesn't leak or fall out of packaging.
· Stand for long periods of time.
· Lift heavy packages of meat.
· Awareness of product changes and seasonal requirements.
· Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and uniform.
Physical Demands:
Walking; standing, reaching, bending, twisting, ability to carry/lift 40 - 50 lbs.

Pay: $15.00-$20.42 per hour
