Lorvale Learning Centre is a private learning center based in Toronto. We provide Math Competition programs to students aged 6-18. We are looking for part-time or full-time coaches:
Main responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging, interactive lesson plans that capture students’ interest and promote deep understanding.
- Prepare and coach students for various levels of math competitions, tailoring training to individual abilities.
- Plan and coordinate math competitions, ensuring smooth execution and active participation.
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-year math competition & coaching experience
- Previous teaching experience is essential
- Familiar with AMC and math competitions of the University of Waterloo
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Team player and willingness to take part in extra-curricular activities
- Dependable, organized, punctual, patient and passionate about helping students achieve full potential
- Ability to create customized learning plans to meet individual learning goals
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening or willingness to obtain one
- Eligible to legally work in Canada
