We are seeking a Materials Coordinator to our construction site operations by managing the delivery, organization, and distribution of construction materials. This role ensures that trades and site teams have timely access to the materials and tools they need, contributing to efficient workflow and high-quality project execution.

Receiving & Verification Responsible for receiving all site deliveries and entering products into the HFF system. Ensures accuracy by cross-referencing deliveries with Estimating takeoffs and Purchase Orders. Provides 7-day delivery lookaheads and follows up with vendors on any shortages or damages.
Inventory & Material Management Maintains accurate inventory of site materials and tools. Ensures proper storage and organization using 5S practices to keep materials protected and the parkade efficient and orderly.
Delivery Coordination & Scheduling Stages deliveries by floor and schedules them based on timelines from the Site Superintendent and Project Manager. Coordinates closely with the Purchasing Department to manage incoming site materials.
Communication & Reporting Tracks and reports all site rentals, providing regular updates to the Site Superintendent and Project Manager. Supplies quantity and PO information as needed to support site operations.
Additional Responsibilities Additional duties include tracking equipment and tool rentals across various sites and supporting other purchasing and logistics tasks as assigned by the Purchasing Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in material purchasing within a construction environment
- Valid Forklift Certification is required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in dynamic or ambiguous environments
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Excellent time management and project coordination skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
