Job Purpose
The Material Handler I ensures the proper handling, identification, and inspection of raw and finished parts within the paint-finishing process. This role focuses on loading, unloading, and inspecting parts to maintain quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and rack parts as per the daily schedule.
- Load and unload parts from the line, ensuring adherence to instructions.
- Perform inspections for obvious defects on raw and reworked parts.
- Plug, mask, or prepare parts following specified guidelines.
- Remove excess water post-pretreatment, if required.
- Pack finished products per packaging instructions.
- Segregate non-conforming material and assist with rework as needed.
