The Work
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Reverse Mortgage Growth, the Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to the evolution of Equitable Bank’s reverse mortgage business. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a growing business with a fast-paced and committed team. As the Marketing Manager, you’ll assist with the planning and lead the implementation of all marketing campaigns for both the advisor and direct to consumer channels. This will require constant collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholder groups across the organization including sales, creative services, and media vendors. The Core Responsibilities!
- Lead the development and manage the end-to-end execution of marketing strategies that drive acquisition and improve lead conversion rates, by collaborating with both internal and external marketing resources (i.e., creative services, PR, social, analytics and digital media)
- Ensure flawless execution of marketing and sales tactics by managing workback schedules, deliverable timing, revisions and feedback with speed and attention to detail
- Manage the on-time delivery of all projects and campaigns, with careful oversight of budgets
- Review and analyze data related to marketing campaigns to generate insights that improve campaign performance and maximize return on spend
- Present data in various formats including excel reports and presentations to help shape marketing and growth strategies
- Support future product launches by performing market intelligence research
- Execute competitive research and landscape analysis; staying abreast with competitive offerings, products, promotional offers, tactics, and activities to help gain a competitive advantage
- Provide support to the Sales and Credit functions by developing presentations, and additional ad hoc materials
- Develop marketing collateral to assist Sales in improving customer experience and conversion throughout the sales funnel including brochures, web copy and design, social ads
- Write detailed and effective creative briefs, helping to ensure high quality creative output from both internal and external partners
- Coordinate with external publishers and partners on various media buys
- Manage email deployment in collaboration with the creative services and email team, ensuring flawless execution
- Contribute to a culture of experimentation and learning
Let's Talk About You!
- Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another relevant field
- 5+ years experience in a marketing focused role (financial services experience a plus!)
- Advanced MS Office skills with a particular focus on creative top-notch PowerPoint presentations
- Proven ability to thrive in a self-driven, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders, changing priorities and minimal direction
- Experience in leveraging AI tools to monitor industry social media and competitor websites, generating content ideas and enhancing work flows
- Exceptional writing skills and strong editing and proofreading abilities
- Experience managing external partners including marketing agencies, creative teams, and media vendors
- The ability to shift priorities quickly, manage tight timelines and be relentless in your desire to get the job done
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise between a variety of stakeholders and the capacity to work across various levels and departments in the organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
