Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children and educators. You will work closely with the educators in the facility to provide support and foster a positive working environment where educators can provide care to children of various ages and support their development through structured activities and play. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in early childhood education along with having excellent intercommunicative skills and be comfortable in a leadership role.
The candidate must have their Early Childhood Educator Certificate/Diploma or Bachelor of Education.
Responsibilities
- Administrative duties
- Communication with employees regarding any concerns they may have
- Work with personnel from the Department of Education, Public Health and Fire Safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Set and maintain facility goals
- Work within a team environment
- Have a thorough knowledge of all guidelines relating to an early learning childcare facility
- Email communications to educators, parents/guardians, personnel, etc.
- Ensure staff guidelines are being met at all times
- Provide documentation specific to annual reviews
- Create and send invoices
- Maintain enrolment via the Operator Portal
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience in caregiving or working with children in a classroom setting
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities that foster learning
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills when interacting with children, educators and parents alike
- A genuine passion for nurturing the growth and development of young minds
- Ability to work in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.50-$27.50 per hour
