Job Overview:
Halenda’s Fine Foods Limited is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing operations of our food processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electro-mechanical repair and maintenance of food processing and support equipment. We are looking for a hands-on professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, a proactive maintenance approach, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform electro-mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing and auxiliary equipment.
· Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
· Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance with minimal disruption to production.
· Implement corrective actions to resolve equipment malfunctions and prevent recurrence.
· Ensure all equipment is cleaned, lubricated, and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and parts used.
· Adhere to company and industry safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety.
· Stay up-to-date with relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in electro-mechanical maintenance, preferably within the food processing industry.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience with meat processing equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in executing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
- Possession of a valid 433A Millwright or 442A Industrial Electrician license (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
