Position Overview
We require a full-time Maintenance Assistant for our properties in Revelstoke who has common knowledge of hotel issues and how to repair them.
Salary: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
Full-time/Permanent
Shifts: 8-hour

- Work with the team to address maintenance concerns in a timely fashion.
- Observe strict safety practices.
- Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Respond to all maintenance issues on a timely basis, including troubleshooting and undertaking repairs about guest rooms and common areas. Maintenance issuers may include minor plumbing, painting, and a wide range of repair work.
- Travel between properties.
- Liaise and Assist with Front Desk and Housekeeping departments when required.
- Assist on various new projects as the properties develop.
- Work in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Take on calls for maintenance issues.
- Experience in maintenance.
- Must have experience with skid steer/bobcat
- Experience in landscaping/lawn care.
- Must work well without supervision and have sufficient knowledge of common hotel problems and how they can be repaired.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems (including relevant equipment and tools) is an asset.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods; ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift or move heavy equipment.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other manuals and documents.
