Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in industrial maintenance, ensuring that all systems run efficiently and effectively. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, with an emphasis on maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including low voltage applications and logic controllers.
- Fabricate and repair components as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge to enhance operational efficiency.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within an industrial maintenance environment is essential.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical operations, and schematics is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high levels of morale and productivity.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and low voltage systems is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
