Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cooking. 3 years experience preferred. This person should have a strong sense of responsibility and be able to lead the team through their shift.
As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering perfectly prepared dishes to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent knife skills and ability to handle food safely.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
