Bakers Narrows Lodge is a tourism-based business that provides guests with experiences from traditional fishing trips to adventure tourism. We cater to many different types of guests.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our recipes and standards.
Location: Bakers Narrows Lodge Restaurant
Wage: Based on experience + gratuities
Shifts: Day, evening, weekends, some holidays
Employment Type: Full time/Part time

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Adapt to changing menus and dietary restrictions as needed.
- Support the Head Chef in achieving quality and consistency in all dishes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role at a lodge preferred.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced kitchen environment.
- May require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Some split shifts.
