Poppy's curates scratch-made classic and modern French cuisine in the heart of Collingwood in the historic Tremont Building. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Poppy's French Bistro.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare food according to recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Select and cook high-quality ingredients, ensuring proper preparation and plating.
- Follow FIFO method to maintain product freshness and minimize waste.
- Maintain quality standards, portion control, and compliance with health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold our core values and contribute to a positive kitchen environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in an elevated dining environment.
- Strong technical skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Attention to detail in food preparation, presentation, and quality standards.
- Ability to follow recipes, maintain consistency, and uphold kitchen organization.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a positive attitude under pressure.
- A solid understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices, Food Handler Certification an asset
