Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Participate in catering events as required, providing exceptional service to guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or in other kitchen roles within the food industry.
- Strong culinary skills with proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred, along with knowledge of menu planning and meal preparation.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices for food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
