Career Opportunity – Line Cook
We are currently seeking experienced Line Cooks to join our team. We offer opportunity for advancement and career development. Reporting to the Executive Chef, the Line Cook will be key to the culinary production of all food for the daily services and weekly/contract events that will be hosted at the Clubhouse Restaurant and the Tecumseh & Big Bear Lodges. Consistency and efficiency will be key skills required to execute a la carte orders and preparation lists, organize and/or maintain work loads, cleaning and storage schedules, as well as contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of the work place. The capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality is necessary for this position.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review pre-preparations for designated station and ensure min/max amounts are met prior to service.
- Execute preparations and service of designated menus as needed (a la carte and/or Lodge services)
- Ensure consistency and quality of product from preparation through to the end of service.
- Utilization / designation of leftover products for minimal waste. Documents all waste.
- Follows proper storage procedures and maintains cleanliness and organization of storage spaces.
- Contributes to the overall cleanliness and organization of preparation areas.
- Acts as Service Lead and/or Lodge Services where scheduled.
- Communicates effectively with all team members to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently residing in Alberta or willing to move to Crowsnest Pass.
- Committed to customer service and exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience as a Line Cook is preferred
- Desire to exceed customer expectations
- Positive, goal-oriented individual
TERMS
- Full-time hourly, Seasonal position
- Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 Hourly
