We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- Assist in the inventory management of kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service
- Follow proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including meal preparation and cooking tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is needed
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and food preparation methods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
