Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
