We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This role involves routine cleaning tasks in office buildings, common areas, and restrooms. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows directions well, and works independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins; replace liners
- Clean and disinfect restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors)
- Wipe down surfaces, door handles, and high-touch areas
- Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventory
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
- Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor
Requirements:
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Physically able to perform light to moderate cleaning duties (e.g., standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs)
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to pass a background check, if required
