How you will make an impact:
We’re looking for an extremely results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to lead the customer journey for our cloud-connected apps. You will plan, execute, and optimize lifecycle initiatives that drive trial activation, subscription conversion, and retention. Working across Email/SMS, push notifications, in-app content, and automation flows, you’ll deliver personalized and engaging customer experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a very fast-paced DTC environment, loves data-driven marketing, and is eager to shape how customers discover, adopt, and stay engaged with our products.
How you will contribute:
Campaign Execution & Planning
Plan and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives to drive engagement, cloud trial activations, and subscription growth.
- Develop and manage promotional banners, push notifications, and email/SMS campaigns across all apps
- Create engaging popups and in-app offers to promote features and subscription benefits
- Coordinate retention-focused campaigns to support customer loyalty and reduce churn
- Maintain a centralized content tracker for all in-app promotions and campaigns
Automation & Lifecycle Flows
Build and optimize automated marketing flows to guide customers from onboarding to long-term retention.
- Manage onboarding, feature education, and re-engagement automations across all apps
- Create targeted win-back, upgrade, and milestone campaigns
- Implement event-based triggers to personalize messaging and offers
- Continuously refine flows based on customer engagement and feedback
In-App Content Coordination
Ensure consistent, high-quality visual and interactive content within the app experience.
- Manage app branding, pricing blocks, ribbons, and checkout experiences
- Coordinate educational in-app content to help customers maximize product value
- Collaborate with design and CX teams on instructional content and setup guides
- Conduct regular in-app audits to maintain an optimal user experience
Performance Reporting
Track and communicate the impact of lifecycle marketing efforts across all channels.
- Compile regular reports on app usage, subscription activity, and campaign performance
- Analyze churn patterns and recommend strategies for improvement
- Share insights with marketing and product teams to inform future initiatives
Pre-Purchase Product Experience
Support the customer journey before app activation to encourage cloud adoption.
- Assist with packaging and insert design highlighting app benefits
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to optimize product pages and checkout flows
- Ensure consistent messaging about app and cloud features across pre-purchase touchpoints
User Feedback & Competitor Research
Gather and share insights to improve lifecycle marketing strategies and competitive positioning.
- Conduct user surveys and feedback collection
- Monitor app reviews and customer experience insights
- Research competitor strategies and share actionable recommendations
Other Projects as Required
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–5-year experience in digital marketing. Must be last or most recent role.
- 1+ years of experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business
- Hands-on experience managing Email/SMS marketing campaigns (Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar platforms).
- Proven experience building and optimizing marketing automation and lifecycle flows (e.g., onboarding, trial activation, churn reduction, win-back).
- Experience with in-app messaging, push notifications, or app content coordination preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing performance data and use insights to improve conversion and retention.
