Make an impact with our Legal & Risk Management team as Legal Counsel, Litigation. This diverse team of professionals provides legal expertise to support the success of our operations across a broad range of practice areas. As a trusted advisor, you’ll apply your understanding of the legislative landscape to proactively explore and mitigate risk and ensure firmwide compliance.

Responsibilities
- Manage litigation on behalf of the Firm, from early case assessment and strategy development to drafting pleadings and overseeing research and analysis
- Work with external counsel where warranted, with the goal of resolving litigious matters at minimal impact to MNP
- Provide advice to various leaders and executives
- Draft concise emails and legal documents
- Identify legal issues, research, and analyze complicated situations and develop practical solutions
- Develop good working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and work effectively with outside counsel
- Assist in developing legal policies
- Draft concise emails and legal documents
- Write briefs on regulations, legal, and compliance matters and other ad hoc legal issues to support legal position and provide guidance to teams
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Skills and Experience
- Experienced litigator with at least five (5) years of post-call experience, ideally working in both law firms and in-house settings, with a focus on litigation
- Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills
