As concrete specialists in resurfacing, custom flooring, countertops, general concrete repairs and concrete protection maintenance, we are looking for a self driven individual, with a great attitude, strong work ethic and strong interpersonal skills to be able to join our growing team as a Lead Hand.
Summary
The Lead Hand is primarily responsible for supervising crew and must ensure a high-quality final product that meets and exceeds project requirements. The ideal candidate must have a very strong attention to detail, excellent people skills and be able to train less experienced workers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing job sites by setting up tools, equipment and all required materials.
- Lead and supervise a team during decorative concrete flooring installations.
- Install Epoxy and Polyaspartic coatings.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Pour, Level and smooth concrete using rakes, screeds, trowels and finishing tools.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively for prepping decorative concrete work.
- Assist in the training and development of new team members.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required during installations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in masonry or concrete work, with a focus on decorative concrete preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coating techniques and flooring installation processes.
- Identify and resolve issues related to existing concrete consistency, surface imperfections and curing challenges.
- Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in decorative concrete.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Maintain and possess a class 5 license and have your own vehicle.
