Overview:
Join our civil construction team as a Concrete Cutter/Saw Operator. This role involves operating cutting equipment on roads, bridges, sidewalks, and industrial facilities, often under time-sensitive project timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Use road saws to cut joints and control cracks in asphalt and concrete.
- Follow detailed instructions and layouts for saw cuts on roads and curbs.
- Adhere strictly to traffic control protocols and PPE requirements.
- Coordinate with traffic control crews and project managers.
- Perform minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in roadwork or civil construction.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work nights or weekends if required by project.
- Experience operating skid steers or jackhammers a plus.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites across the region.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
