Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of concrete work, including forming, finishing, and masonry. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. As a Concrete Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring high-quality results on every project.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and placement of concrete for various construction projects.
- Perform concrete forming tasks, including setting up and dismantling forms.
- Execute concrete finishing techniques to achieve desired surface textures.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct masonry work as needed, including bricklaying and block laying.
- Assist with drywall installation and flooring installation when required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
Requirements
- Proven 3 years of experience in concrete forming, finishing, or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with carpentry techniques is a plus.
- Ability to weld is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience with power tools and heavy equipment operation is essential.
- Knowledge of masonry practices and drywall installation is preferred.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety protocols on-site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks as required.
