Home2 Suites Lead Breakfast Attendant
The Home2 Suites by Hilton Lead Breakfast Attendant is a dependable and responsible individual who helps create a warm and inviting place for our guests to call "home." In addition to providing excellent guest service, the Lead Breakfast Attendant supports the breakfast team by overseeing daily operations, ensuring food quality and presentation, and maintaining Hilton brand standards. This role also includes training, guiding, and assisting team members to deliver a consistent and memorable breakfast experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for setting up, stocking and maintaining breakfast room and kitchen
- Prepare food for breakfast including in using a combi oven
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Answer guest questions
- Assist guests in use of breakfast equipment if needed
- Helps handle guest concerns related to Home2 breakfast
- Maintain cleanliness of serving area; including wiping, sweeping and mopping.
- Clear and clean tables and chairs
- Wash and store any dishes and utensils
- Sweeps, vacuums, and mops kitchen and dining room floor
- Responsible for the removal of all waste and recycling to proper disposal areas
- Ensures the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- Takes every reasonable precaution to protect own health and safety and the health and safety of other persons at or near the workplace
- Follows safety and food handling practices
- Completes additional food service or catering duties as assigned by management
- Trains Breakfast Attendants
- Helps maintain cleanliness and quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Food Handler’s certificate an asset
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as cooperatively within a team setting
- Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.60 per hour
