Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated individuals for the position of Lawn Mowing. This role involves maintaining the aesthetic and health of residential and commercial lawns through regular mowing and landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every lawn looks its best.
Duties
- Operate lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns.
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including trimming, edging, and blowing debris.
- Dig and prepare soil for planting as needed.
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to promote healthy growth.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic mechanical repairs when necessary.
- Utilize both power tools and hand tools effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Build garden beds or other landscape features as required by clients.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques.
- Ability to run zero turn mowers and tow trailers
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Experience in irrigating systems to ensure proper lawn care.
- Familiarity with gardening practices, including planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
- Capability to maintain tools and equipment effectively.
- Competence in using both power tools (such as lawn mowers, trimmers) and hand tools (such as shovels, rakes).
- Ability to build simple garden structures or features when needed.
