Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Lawn Maintenance Labourer to join our landscaping team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of outdoor maintenance tasks, including grass cutting, trimming, and general lawn care. This role is physically demanding and requires working in varying weather conditions.
Duties
- Operate lawn maintenance equipment such as push mowers, ride-on mowers, weed trimmers, blowers, and edgers
- Perform grass cutting, trimming, edging, and blowing to maintain clean and tidy properties
- Rake, collect and dispose of yard debris
- Assist with planting, mulching, and other landscaping tasks as required
- Maintain tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety issues
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Provide quality service to clients while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor
- Work as part of a team to complete daily job schedules efficiently
Skills
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping is an asset but not required
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care tools and machinery
- Physically fit and capable of lifting to 50 lbs and working on your feet all day
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Valid G driver’s license (clean driving record)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
