Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Law Clerk to join our growing team. The successful candidate will support our legal professionals in managing client files, preparing hearing materials, and maintaining accurate records in Clio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and manage legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and hearing briefs
- Organize and maintain client files in Clio, including docketing and uploading communications
- Coordinate with clients to gather documentation and schedule meetings
- Assist with arbitration and tribunal preparation, including document review and hearing logistics
- Maintain communication logs and ensure timely follow-ups on pending matters
- Support intake and lead management processes as outlined in our internal guides
Qualifications:
- Law Clerk diploma or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in labour or administrative law
- Proficiency with Clio or similar legal practice management software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
