Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Family Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law and be committed to providing exceptional legal services to clients navigating complex family matters. This role involves representing clients in various family law cases, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence issues. The Family Lawyer will be responsible for advocating for clients' rights and interests while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce proceedings, child custody disputes, and adoption processes.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and client representation.
- Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients to achieve favorable outcomes while maintaining professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law regulations and changes to ensure compliance and effective representation.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure comprehensive client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association and active license to practice law.
- Proven experience in family law or related fields is preferred.
- Strong skills in legal drafting, research, writing, and negotiation are essential for success in this role.
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
