Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance. This role involves various tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of landscapes, ensuring that properties are aesthetically pleasing and healthy.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery for landscape construction and maintenance tasks.
- Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage across various landscapes.
- Perform gardening duties including planting, pruning, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Conduct regular landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, edging, mulching, and weeding.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide mechanical knowledge for the upkeep of equipment used in landscaping operations.
- Assist in construction projects related to landscaping, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
Experience
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating excavators and irrigation systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant care practices is essential.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a safe manner is required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $17.57-$22.10 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
