We are seeking Landscape Laborers with experience pruning and maintaining trees; operating machinery and running errands. The successful candidates will have a background in environmental sustainability, a passion for landscaping and an eye for design. The ideal candidates will also be familiar with transplanting, fertilizer and pesticide application and a willingness to keep their work area neat, clean and organized.
Responsibilities:
- Use manual tools to cut and shape stone and concrete.
- Dig trenches and prepare earth for construction projects.
- Mow lawns and remove unwanted plants and trees.
- Care for plants and trees using proper fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides.
- Clean outdoor areas to remove debris and trash.
- Remove damaged grass or soil from exterior areas.
- Maintain outdoor areas by weeding, mowing, or trimming plants and lawns.
- Locate underground utilities using utility locators.
- Backfill trenches using shovels, hand trowels, or spades.
Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
