Tru-Kare Tank and Meter Service is a Transport Canada-certified pressure vessel inspection facility, a commercial vehicle inspection facility, and an industrial paint shop. We are also a recognized B620 Training Facility.
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to maintain cleanliness and organization in our shop. This is an entry-level position with excellent opportunities for career growth. All training will be provided. Wage will be determined be experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain shop cleanliness: sweep, remove garbage, organize tools and materials
- Mow, weed whack, snow removal
- Pressure wash units for inspection
- Helping technicians
A Pressure Vessel inspector is what we are hoping you can grow your career into:
- Inspect, test, and repair pressure vessels, including valves, pumps, and plumbing.
- Conduct leak testing, hydrostatic testing, and visual inspections.
- Buff, and clean pressure vessels to perform MPI NDT inspection.
- Work on various pressure vessel types, including 331, 341, 338, and 406 specifications (propane, NH3, CO2, liquid nitrogen, cryogenic liquids, and some fuel).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Able to follow instructions, learn quickly
- being mechanically inclined is an asset
