About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Labourer/Installer to join our growing team. In this hands-on role, you’ll assist in the installation of windows, roofing systems, railings, and sunrooms. The ideal candidate is reliable, hard-working, and has a strong background in construction and carpentry.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install windows, doors, roofing, siding, and outdoor living products like sunrooms and railings.
- Assist and support lead installers on-site.
- Operate power tools and equipment including mitre saws, jig saws, drills, ladders, and hand tools.
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized.
- Follow instructions, problem-solve on site, and communicate clearly with team members and clients.
- Travel daily from Newcastle to Belleville and surrounding areas in a company truck.
What You Bring:
- Experience in construction/carpentry (framing, caulking, decks, window/door installation) is an asset, but not required.
- Experience in roofing, siding, or window & door installation is an asset
- Bonus if you have knowledge of modular rooms, patio covers, or railing systems.
- Comfortable working at heights (Working at Heights certification is a plus—or willing to obtain).
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 45kg (100 lbs).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid G driver’s license, clean abstract, and comfortable towing trailers. Must be insurable.
