Now Hiring: Kitchen Manager / Pastry Team Lead
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate leader to join our team as a Kitchen Manager with either a Baking, Cake Decorating and/or Chocolatier background. Someone who thrives on building people up, running an organized kitchen, and bringing imaginative designs to life.
You’ll work closely with our Head Designer (that’s me!) to turn custom cake, chocolate, and pastry visions into reality. You’ll oversee the team, manage production flow, and ensure our kitchen runs smoothly, all while nurturing a supportive, and inclusive environment where creativity and work-life balance matter.
What You’ll Do:
- Bake, Decorate and/or create chocolate per your specific skill set(s) with the team
- Lead and support a talented kitchen team with kindness and clear direction
- Create weekly staff schedules, help train new team members, and engage moral
- Interpret production needs from custom designs and delegate tasks accordingly
- Oversee prep, baking, chocolate work, and decorating workflows as needed
- Maintain inventory, place orders, and manage stock levels proactively
- Keep an eye on maintenance needs and follow up with necessary repairs
- Uphold excellent food safety, cleanliness, and quality control standards
- Balance timelines, creativity, and efficiency to meet weekly goals
Your Skills:
-Proficient in at least one of: cake decorating, baking, or chocolate work. I'm happy to provide training for the others to grow your skillsets if you're interested in additional mediums.
-Previous management experience in a kitchen or pastry production setting
-Comfortable with planning production and adapting to shifting priorities
-Great at delegating, communicating clearly, and keeping cool under pressure
-Passionate about creating a kind, inclusive, and compassionate workplace
-Organized, detail-oriented, and ready to work smart, to avoid the stresses that can come with an unorganized kitchen.

Compensation & Perks
$22–$26/hour (based on experience)
-Flexible schedule and hours 4–5 days per week

Competitive wage based on experience ranging from $22-$26/hour
