Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Duties
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers and assisting them with their orders.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are necessary.
- Experience with cashiering and operating POS systems is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment is highly valued.

Pay: $17.20-$19.49 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
