Responsibilities:
- Oversee execution of day-to-day operations, and lead team of part-time staff over time
- Ensure that systems are implemented in all facets of kitchen (prep/open/close)
- Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies/ingredients
- Coordinate with management team on day-to-day operations/SWOT analysis
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to DineSafe regulations
- Interact with customers to provide superior service experience, and de-escalate complaints/concerns where necessary
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of food production tasks and routines, able to effectively communicate with other team members
- Multitasking, navigating in a small space, and always prioritising quality are a must!
This isn't another seasonal service position. This is an opportunity to work with BEAR Steak Sandwiches, Toronto's premium fast casual sandwich spot.
