Job Summary
We are seeking a coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management of our Community Banner Marketing portfolio. This includes coordinating local store marketing campaigns, ad-hoc requests, sports and events sponsorship initiatives, and mobile food experience program.
This role involves supporting with successful execution of events, including but not limited to evaluating ad-hoc requests, coordinating approvals with internal stakeholders, trafficking assets, managing store communications, organizing report data, meeting regularly with stakeholders and agencies, and attending weekend events on-site as needed.
Accountabilities also include successful relationship management with internal stakeholders and store operations teams. The coordinator should demonstrate collaboration, strive for excellence, pay attention to details, and improve effectiveness overall. There will also be opportunities to contribute to various ad-hoc projects and programs that support the Community Banner team and its objectives.
In addition to managing the weekly responsibilities, the candidate should be able to provide forward thinking to help enhance our programs as well as the overall business.
This is a full-time contract role from Monday to Friday, 9AM – 5PM with the expectation of minimum of three (3) days in office.
Requirements
- Related university degree, college diploma or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with national events and/or regional events
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player and collaborates with others to achieve shared goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to apply analytical thinking to reporting
- 1-2 years of marketing experience (Agency and/or brand setting preferred)
- Can work effectively under pressure
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Resourceful in finding information and solutions
- Demonstrates dedication to program success
- Holds a valid driver’s license
