This is a full-time on-site role for a Pre-engineered Building Installer (2nd year to FM for site work) starting in Brandon, MB and then working across Western Canada (travel will be required for this position). The Pre-engineered Building Installer will be responsible for assembling and installing pre-engineered buildings (Ironworking and Cladding including IMP and architectural sheet metal), reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, and ensuring all installations meet industry standards and safety requirements. Daily tasks include working with a team to complete installations, operating various tools and machinery, troubleshooting any issues that arise during installation, and maintaining a clean and organized work site.
Qualifications
Experience in assembling and installing pre-engineered buildings, and working with construction materials and tools
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and building codes
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
Experience operating machinery and power tools related to construction
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in construction or a related field are a plus, but not require.
