Position Overview:
Are you ready to contribute to high-impact industrial projects that define strength and precision? All Class Fabrication Ltd. is actively searching for both Apprentice and Journeyman certified Millwrights and Ironworkers to join our team in the Fort St. John region starting this September.
Responsibilities and Role Requirements:
- Install, align, and dismantle industrial machinery following layout plans and specifications
- Use precision tools to position and secure pumps, conveyors, and rotating equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs using trade tools
- Safely rig, lift, and position heavy equipment using cranes, jacks, and hoisting devices
- Interpret blueprints and technical documents to ensure proper assembly
- Assist with site prep, layout planning, and machinery commissioning/decommissioning
- Weld, bolt, and cut metal components to meet code and quality standards
- Fabricate and erect structural steel — beams, columns, frameworks, staircases, railings, etc.
- Collaborate with supervisors, and additional trades on site to streamline installation work
- Take part in toolbox talks, safety briefings, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance, inspections, and part replacements
- Mentor apprentices and support hands-on training for junior crew members
- Possess strong spatial awareness and mechanical intuition on the job
- Ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols
- Demonstrate solid manual dexterity and physical stamina for demanding work
- Visualize complex assemblies and anticipate alignment or fit-up challenges
- Apply trade-specific math for torque, alignment, and load distribution
- Travel as needed, work in remote areas, at heights, or confined spaces with full respect for site protocols and client expectations
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:
- Active apprenticeship or Journeyman certificate is required
- Previous experience within the oilfield, mining, construction industry is an asset
- Certificates and training that may be required for this position but will not be limited to: Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid, CSTS 2020/ CSO
