Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Associate to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Associate will play a crucial role in managing stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting the overall efficiency of our operations. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for optimal accessibility and efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and documentation for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate inventory needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and update records as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in handling inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
- Ability to drive forklift and move the skids to their location in organized manner.
- MUST have past experience in inventory management.
