Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Agent to join our team in South Etobicoke. We are an independent Desjardins Insurance Agency, the 3rd largest Property & Casualty insurer in Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their insurance needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Bilingual Chinese/English candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our ability to serve our Chinese clientele.
Duties
- Engage with potential clients through telemarketing and outside sales efforts to promote various insurance products.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales administration tasks.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
- Provide ongoing support and service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong telemarketing skills with the ability to engage potential clients effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English is a MUST
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong desire to learn about various insurance products and market trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,400.00-$76,882.24 per year

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Sales /Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

- Chinese and excellent English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- OTL/RIBO and LLQP exams (preferred)
