The University of Lethbridge, SEARS department is currently accepting applications for a casual Information Clerk to join our team.
This position will be responsible for the following:
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Answer questions about the University in-person, by phone, and email in a direct, clear confident, and professional manner.
- Customer service to students, staff, faculty and the public.
- Provide information regarding university policies and procedures pertaining to a variety of areas (including but not limited to) timetabling, admissions, and registration processes.. Other duties include processing data entry, operating a multi-line phone system, processing transcript requests and additional duties as assigned.
Hourly Rate: $26.38
Position Qualifications
Must be an undergraduate, domestic student; must be a full-time student in good academic standing, must demonstrate financial need by completing a scholarship application (especially section on financial need) link to scholarship application
A minimum of a College/University Diploma or Degree (in progress). Experience in delivering a high standard of customer service when dealing with the public, excellent keyboarding skills and accuracy, good communication, analytical and organizational skills, the ability to exercise independent judgement, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with the University community is essential. Experience with Microsoft office and Outlook is an asset.
