Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of painting crews or technicians
- Train new employees on painting techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use.
- Inspect surfaces and coatings to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
- Perform and supervisor testing of pant adhesion, thickness, and coverage.
- Address and resolve issues to paint application, such as inconsistencies or defects.
- Coordinate with other departments or external contractors to ensure seamless execution of painting tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, including handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Recommend and implement upgrades or improvements to equipment and processes.
- Maintain accurate records of paint applications, including types of materials used, surface conditions, and project progress.
- Identify opportunities for improving painting processes, efficiency, and quality.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership skills and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of commercial painting techniques and safety practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
