Candidates must possess CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, H2S Alive, and be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
Position Summary
Industrial Tubers - Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain and or repair tubing systems which carry glycol, steam or oil to piping systems.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Interprets mechanical drawings, blueprints, specificationsand addendums related to an industrial system to determine the type of pipe and tools to use and lay out the sequence of tasks
- May be required to make detailed sketches for pipe and equipment fabrication and installation as required
- Understands, identifies and describes the components and materials used in an Industrial system
- Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings
- Joins pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
- Identifies, defines and applies information found on ISO and P&ID drawings for the application of materials without supervision
- Determines quantities by executing a full project takeoff of required documents, interpret specifications and addendums and calculate the total amount of materials needed for project
- Estimates the complete project costs for a given project, unit price, man-hours and manpower costs without supervision
- Identifies and uses Red Seal products to prepare for an Interprovincial Exam
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary or technical training is an asset
- Static equipment experience (such as vessels, heat exchange, etc.)
- Previous experience tubing
- Safety tickets including: CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015,Fall Protection, H2S Alive

Physical & Other Requirements

- Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses
