Position summary
Responsible for performing the physical tasks involved in the shipment of incoming products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Duties:
- Tracking incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Entering order information.
- Assists with checking goods in and confirm accuracy of packing lists.
- Update supplier purchase orders to show accurate quantity and date goods are expected to be delivered.
- Inspect all materials received to ensure they are up to expectations.
- Put Away goods
- Performs cycle counts of on hand inventory, investigate and correct discrepancies.
- Perform inventory.
- Responsible for the cross-training of personnel on incoming inspection processes and procedures.
- Correctly identify incoming material receipts of parts and supplies, match them with the correct purchase orders, data enter the receipts into the computer and route the material to the correct destination in the plant.
- Work with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain the incoming inspection area in an orderly and safe condition.
- Assist as required in the stockroom in kitting, cycle counting and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Filling and scanning of supplier packing slips.
- Verify customer requirement with internal documentation.
- Creates NCMR’s and gather RMA information for material to be returned.
- Perform other duties as required.
