RAPS is Seeking a Support Worker to Assist an Individual with a Global Developmental Delay (A44)
Location: SW Edmonton
Days: 28-35 hours per week
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: planning, participation and support in leisure activities and social outings including client transportation; supervision; companionship; personal care (dressing and full personal hygiene); minor meal preparation; light housekeeping.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: The successful candidate will have an updated criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check, be a non-smoker and have a valid driver’s license and vehicle for client transportation with appropriate insurances. First Aid and CPR training considered an asset. Education in Support work also considered an asset.
*The ability to communicate through American Sign Language is considered a valuable asset
Rate of Pay: $22.00 - $25.00/ hour based on experience and qualifications.
